IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
We have thoroughly enjoyed welcoming guests to this very special island since our arrival here in July 2018. However, we have decided after very careful consideration NOT to re-open as a bed & breakfast for the foreseeable future.

We respect our colleagues around the country who, after facing the considerable challenges of lockdown, are preparing to contend with arguably the even greater demands of unlocking. For us, we believe it time to explore alternative options.

For the time being, we are leaving this lovely website live, in grateful memory of this adventure and the kindness of our many guests whose generous comments enrich these pages.

INTRODUCING
Friends of Holy Island will be interested to learn of a new venture just launched - a visitors' audio tour of the island!
​
The Holy Island Audio Tour is an interactive map for your phone with commentary, island voices and links to local businesses.
In part born out of lockdown's Holy Island Radio, the audio tour is an income-generation project we have launched having taken the major decision at Bamburgh View not to re-open as a bed and breakfast.
​
Holy Island Radio had listeners from Alaska to Australia and we hope that the Audio Tour may also provide a temporary substitute for those farther afield who are unable to visit the island in person at the present time. Please be encouraged to share the link and, if you do make a 'virtual visit', let us know what you think.
